"West End Playgroup is like an extension of your family, warm and supportive, so you know your child is in the best hands. The staff are kind and very experienced as they are all mothers themselves. Activities are varied and provide great preparation for younger children as well as those getting ready for school. The outdoor activities are the icing on the cake with both forest school and nature walks loved by all involved. All in all, a great place for kids to learn, socialise and have heaps of fun."

"My son has been really happy at West End Playgroup, the staff are incredibly caring and take an interest in each child as an individual. They offer a wide range of activities and of course Forest School which he loves - going to West End has really brought him out of his shell and developed his social skills... and he’s not the only one! I joined the Playgroup committee and it has proved to be a great way to meet other parents and get involved in events and fundraising. Working with Helen and her team we have organised Halloween parties, raffles and summer fairs - and we have even managed to squeeze in a few social events just for the grown ups too. West End really has the community feel that I wanted from a pre-school and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough."

I've even been able to keep him at the playgroup whilst going back to work as they offer a breakfast club too. An early breakfast club drop-off, followed by a morning session and an afternoon in forest school gives him a wonderfully varied day and it's long enough for me to go to work. "I would highly recommend West End playgroup. My son has been going to the playgroup for almost 2 years. Collecting my son from forest school has been magical - the memories of this are so special and will stay with me forever. All the children look so happy, carrying flowers and sticks - and it’s so clear they have all had a fantastic time.
